506th Legion Reformed Code of Conduct.
The Legion Reformed Code of Conduct (LRCC) is the 506th Legion’s rules, and regulations for all it’s members. The LRCC will provide Legion members with guidance and hopefully prevent headaches for all involved.
LRCC 1.0.0 - Ignorance of the Code of Conduct
The ignorance of the LRCC, is not a viable defense, or an excuse for wanton disregard for the LRCC.
Zero mercy will be given for ignorance of the LRCC.
LRCC 1.0.1 - Acts of moral turpitude.
(I) Cheating - the action of pretending to comply with the rules of the game, while secretly subverting them to gain an unfair advantage over an opponent.
(II) Glitching / Exploiting - the use of a bug or glitches, game system, rates, hit boxes, or speed, etc. by a player to their advantage in a manner not intended by the game's designers.
(III) Boosting - an act where a player (The Booster) logs into another player's account (The Boostee) to play a ranked game. While it is generally accepted that the intent of this is to improve the Boostee's MMR (Match Making Rating), any ranked game played by someone that is not the original creator of the account.
All acts of moral turpitude are against the LRCC, and will result in disciplinary action.
LRCC 1.0.2 - Clan Loyalty.
(I) Multi-clanning - the act of being an active member of more than one clan at one time.
All members caught Multi-Clanning will receive disciplinary action.
LRCC 1.0.3 - Command hierarchy
(I) Chain of Command - The succession of commanding officers from a superior to a subordinate through which command is exercised. Also called command channel, or Command hierarchy.
All Members are required to pass information through their chain of command. Each member is expected to follow their chain of command, and respect all ranks superior to their own. If a member violates chain of command, then that member will be subject to coaching. Repeated violation of the chain of command may result in disciplinary action.
LRCC 1.0.4 - General Behavior
(I) Disrespect - The act of showing open disregard for the the rules, LRCC, and open contempt for any members of the 506th Legion.
(II) Sedition - Language or behavior intended to persuade other people to oppose their Chain of Command, or Legion Staff.
(III) Rumors - A piece of unverified information of uncertain origin usually spread by word of mouth, or Unverified information received from another; hearsay.
(IV) Lying - the telling of lies, or false statements; untruthfulness to Staff or other superior ranking members when in an official inquiry.
(V) Scamming - a confidence game or other fraudulent scheme, especially for making a quick profit; swindle.
Any actions which fall under the General Behavior definitions may result in disciplinary action.
LRCC 1.0.5 - Drama
(I) Causing Drama - The act of exaggerating the importance of benign events, causing headaches or stress towards other members.
Any actions which cause undue drama will result in coaching, however repeated violation will result in disciplinary action. We have Absolute Zero Tolerance for members that are causing issues in this Clan with other members or for the Clan as a whole. We are here to have fun in a game, so please be on your best behavior. We understand that there are issues associated with any game, but please do not spew negativity or start arguments, as it will bring everyone down and take away the joy of the game.
LRCC 1.0.6 - Enlisted, and Officer Expectations
Legion Members: We expect all Enlisted Members to Act Maturely, follow the LRCC ( Legion Reformed Code of Conduct) and to respect the Legion Chain of Command.
Breaking the Legion Chain of Command shows a lack of respect for authority and will be treated as a serious offense.
Be creative and positive! If you have an idea for improvement or any suggestions, please feel free to talk to any Legion Officers or you can also submit your ideas via the CONTACT page of our website.
A common failure many applicants fail to recognize is that joining a Clan requires much more commitment than just playing a game. Legion Members need to all work together for the common good. Once you are a part of Legion, you are now part of a much bigger experience than just yourself and there is no point to your presence in our Clan if you’re not going to attempt to assist or interact with your fellow Clan members.
Have a willingness to learn, and to admit defeat. Learn from your mistakes and make necessary adjustments in order for the Clan to be successful. Any member who participates in a Clan War / Clan Operation / Raid is expected to receive constructive criticism from Staff and Leadership in a friendly and receptive manner.
You are expected to use this criticism as a tool to help you perform better in the future sorties. We aim NOT to make the same mistakes twice!
Legion Officers: Representing Legion as an Officer is a highly valued privilege that requires a lot of responsibility.
It is your job to help enforce the rules and encourage productivity within the Clan.
If you are found to be abusing your power which includes unnecessarily kicking of members from servers, unfair treatment, favoritism or harassing our members will be subjected to disciplinary actions, suspension and/or termination of your Legion Membership as well as access to all Legion systems and services.
LRCC 1.0.7 - Equal Opportunity
(I) Racism - prejudice, discrimination, or antagonism directed against someone of a different race or culture based on the belief that one's own race or culture is superior.
(II) Sexual Harassment - It is unlawful to harass a person because of that person’s sex. Harassment can include “sexual harassment” or unwelcome sexual advances, requests for sexual favors, and other verbal or physical harassment of a sexual nature.
Harassment does not have to be of a sexual nature, however, and can include offensive remarks about a person’s sex. For example, it is illegal to harass a person by making offensive comments about people in general.
Both victim and the harasser can be either a woman or a man, and the victim and harasser can be the same sex.
Although the law doesn’t prohibit simple teasing, offhand comments, or isolated incidents that are not very serious, harassment or teasing is illegal when it is so frequent or severe that it creates a hostile or offensive environment or when it results in an adverse decisions (such as the victim being disciplined or demoted). Once it has been asked that you cease in this behavior, you are required to stop immediately.
The harasser can be of a superior rank, a fellow clan member, or someone who is a guest.
The 506th Legion has a ZERO TOLERANCE for sexual harassment.
LRCC 1.0.8 - Social Behavior
Opinions are like assholes, everyone has one, and they all stink like shit. That being said, keep your opinion to yourself if it is not asked for, or solicited by an open ended comment. This is NOT a safe space, we are not your mother, and will not hold your hand, we don’t care about your opinion, you are not special, and we sure as hell will not tolerate “SJW” or “Social Justice Warrior” bullshit on this server. No, we do NOT care about your Pronouns, we don’t care about your superiority complex, or your hipster mentality, take yourself elsewhere and melt snowflake. You must have a thick skin to be on this server, and if you don’t we don’t want you here. Don’t like it? Suck it up, Buttercup. Side-note, non members have no rights and Members of the 506th Legion have the priority, all guests and friends are not to insult, harass, or offend clan members. If you are a guest or a friend, and break this rule, you will be permanently banned from this server. No Exceptions.
LRCC 1.0.9 - Age Restrictions
(I) Guest and Legion friend age restrictions - Any Guest or Legion friend must be at least 16 years old.
(II) Legion Member age restrictions - All members must be at least 16 years old in order to join the legion, however an age waiver may be given to a prospective member should they prove that they are mature enough for membership. All age waived members shall be judged in a harsher, and more unforgiving light when disciplinary action is needed.
All age restrictions will be followed unless approved by staff.
